This unique and stunning work of art is created by master of the wood carving Simeon Shopov. This masterpiece depicts in a 3D icon St. George Victorious, with castle as a background. The wood carving is made of boxwood and walnut, completely enclosed behind a glass, with light on top. The size of the enclosing box is 120cm long X 90cm high X 65cm deep. The process of creating this unique work it has taken nearly 24 months. The meticulously created detailing of the icon, handmade with extreme precision and authenticity, makes this work of art a true treasure of the Bulgarian craftsmanship.
