Thracian Lands Crafts is collaborating with one of the most pronounced and remarkable architects practicing in France and Bulgaria – Architect Stefan Dobrev, Founder and Lead Architect of Architectural Studio Stefan Dobrev (www.stefandobrev.com).
Born in Sofia in 1961 from an architect father, Stefan Dobrev completed his studies in architecture at Sofia Polytechnic in 1987. During the years 1987- 1988 he worked in the office of the renowned Bulgarian architect Stefan Orozov with whom he won the First Prize in the competition for the National Gymnastics Center in Sofia. He subsequently studied urbanism in Paris where he graduated from the Architectural School of Paris-Belleville with a specialization in “Oriental Cities” in 1989. Mr. Dobrev then worked in various Parisian architectural offices until 1992 including “Lipa and Serge Goldstein” as well as with others. In 1992 he established his own architectural practice in Paris. In 1993 he was accepted in the French ‘Order of the Architects’ through the Remarkable Projects Commission. In the same year, he also became Head Architect for the Japanese Cultural Center in Paris. Since then Mr. Dobrev has participated in more than fifty architectural competitions all over the world and won a third of them. Between 1995 and 2001 he worked in association with the French architect Gérard Pierre in Paris with whom he realized several prominent projects. In January 2005 he established of his practice in Sofia, Bulgaria, where he is currently working on numerous projects both in Bulgaria and abroad. Some of his most notable accomplishments include:

– The Corsair Headquarters in Rungis, France (in association with G. Pierre)
– The National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria
– The Bay of Marshan Reconstruction in Tangiers, Morocco (in association with J. Khattabi)
– The Tzarigradsko Shosse Center (Benchmark Business Center) in Sofia, Bulgaria
